Sishan made. Early period, antique pot, handcrafted, shidei purple clay, rectangular outer rim with flared mouth, ku face, with cloud feet, base marked "Sishan", classic form, old vintage pot, as pictured. Sishan, a renowned potter from Nagoya, frequently exhibited at Kokufu-kai exhibitions, specializing in square-shaped pots, a highly popular artist. This piece is conservatively estimated to be over 30 years old; his works are rarely known domestically.
